What type of candles can I use with the hurricanes?

Any good quality, smokeless taper candles will work with the hurricanes. Brands such as Prices and Ester & Erik have suitable candles.

How should I clean the glass candlestick holders?

It is normal for wax to drip around the candlestick holder during use. The best way to clean your candlestick holder is to soak them in hot soapy water and gently wipe away with a damp cloth.

How should I clean the hurricanes?

Our glass hurricanes look their best when they are sparkly clean. Please note if you do not use smokeless candlesticks t is normal for black soot to build up around the glass as the candle burns. Clean them gently with a damp cloth and dish soap or vinegar. For candle wax build up place them in the freezer for a few hours. Avoid scraping with a knife as this could scratch the glass. You can also run them under hot water until the candle wax comes off, but take care not to use boiling water as this could crack the glass. Please take care handling the hurricanes after use as they will be hot. Ensure the glass is cool before running it under cold water to avoid temperature shock.

How should I care for my candlesticks?

Please ensure you trim the wick before lighting the candlestick. Always use candles on a heat resistant surface and ensure they are secure in the candlestick holder. Do not move candles whilst they are burning and keep away from pets and children.
